Real life isn’t on a timer. While most sessions are capped at 90 minutes, I build in flexibility because I know that the best moments often happen when no one’s watching the clock. Whether your toddler needs a snack break, your newborn needs a feed, or you just need a few extra minutes to settle in, I’m not rushing you.
This isn’t about cramming everything into a time slot. It’s about presence, connection, and allowing space for genuine moments to unfold.
So yes, we’ll aim to stay within our window, but I’m not going to cut magic short because we hit 91 minutes.
I’m also not here to direct your every move...unless you're into that. Whether you’re booking a maternity session, a fresh 48, or your third family shoot with me, the experience is always built and tailored to you. Comfortable, yet intentional, and true to your life. From the calm to the chaos, every moment is meaningful.

Once you’ve decided to move forward, complete the form, and I will be get back to you as soon as possible.

Book your session
Pick an available session time, pay the deposit, if necessary, and we will chat preferences and expectations.

Picture time
Think of this as just another hang out session. Soak in the quiet quality time, play and laugh with the kids, lean into the fun, stand on business...we'll get what we need.
04.
Delivering photos
I'm usually too excited and will likely send several sneak peeks the day of, unless the day truly gets away from me. Full galleries can be expected within six weeks of a session.
FAQ
Can we reschedule?
Life happens, kids get sick, weather is unpredictable, maybe you're having one of those days. I allow for one rescheduled session, no questions asked!
What should I wear?
Neutrals, earthy, muted tones are always safe. Avoid logos, loud patterns, or bright colors. Mix textures if you wish. You can always send me pictures ahead of time! Styled shoots are always an option for an added charge as well!
How many pictures will I receive?
You will receive any and all usable photos that turn out! These are YOUR memories! I won't ever put a cap on them!
Are you available outside of Lake Mills, WI?
I'm willing to travel anywhere! However, anything over a 50 mile radius will just take some extra planning and may be reflected in the session rate.
Do you give out RAW photos?
I do not. I take pride in the work and editing I do and every image has been edited with care. I want you to like your photos! Not happy with an edit? Let me make it right.
Can I post pictures to social media?
Of course! You have full print and sharing rights. I’d love it if you tagged From Sonny Studios when you do, but no pressure!
Do you choose the location?
I'm happy to give suggestions based on your interests! I'm open to in-home, outdoor, or studio sessions. The list of locations never ends!
